By accessing yaroreef.com, creating an account or using Ask Yaro, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

3. Age Requirements and Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to make purchases or subscribe to Ask Yaro. By registering you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information
• Keep your password and credentials confidential
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
• Not transfer your account to third parties

4. Products and Prices

Prices are displayed in Mexican Pesos (MXN) and include applicable taxes. Prices are subject to change without notice; the price confirmed at the time of your order applies. Product availability is not guaranteed until we confirm shipment.

5. Purchase Process

• Clicking "Buy" constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products
• You will receive an order confirmation email
• We reserve the right to reject orders due to unavailability, pricing errors or fraud suspicion
• The purchase contract is completed when we dispatch the product and issue a tracking number

6. Payment and Billing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified). We do not store card numbers on our servers. Electronic invoices are issued upon request.

7. Shipping and Delivery

• Standard shipping: 5–7 business days within Mexico
• Express shipping: 2–3 business days
• Free shipping for Yaro's Reef Plus members and orders over $2,000 MXN
• Delivery times are estimates and may vary
• We are not liable for delays caused by carriers

8. Returns and Exchanges

We accept returns within 30 days of receipt, provided the item is unused, in its original packaging with all accessories. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility except for defective products or shipping errors. Live organisms (fish, corals, invertebrates) are not eligible for return or refund once delivered.

9. Product Warranties

Equipment products carry the manufacturer's warranty. Defective products will be replaced or refunded after verification. We cannot guarantee the survival of live organisms, as this depends on the customer's aquarium maintenance conditions.

10. Ask Yaro — AI Subscription Service

Ask Yaro is a SaaS product developed by Merkava Studio. It uses the Anthropic API (Claude model) to generate personalised aquarism responses.

11. Acceptable Use

When using our services you agree not to:

• Engage in fraudulent, illegal or third-party rights-infringing activities
• Share your login credentials with others
• Transmit viruses, malware or harmful code
• Attempt to access restricted areas without authorisation
• Scrape, reverse-engineer or extract data from the site
• Use Ask Yaro to generate harmful, misleading or illegal content
• Resell or redistribute access to Ask Yaro without written authorisation

12. Intellectual Property

All website content and the Ask Yaro software are the property of Merkava Studio / Nassiff Alain Nahle or respective rights holders, protected by intellectual property laws. Data you enter into Ask Yaro (aquarium information, parameters, notes) remains yours; you grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the service.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Merkava Studio / Yaro's Reef shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including damages arising from inaccurate AI responses, data loss or service interruptions. Our maximum total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. Disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.

EU consumers: nothing in these terms limits your rights under your national consumer protection legislation. You may also access the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

15. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions. For material changes we will notify you by email at least 15 days in advance. Continuing to use the services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated version.
